Efforts to Improve Learning Outcomes in Football Passing Through the Self-Check Teaching Style for Elementary School Students YWKA Medan Private School2024-2025

The purpose of this study is to determine the learning outcomes of inside foot passing in soccer through the self-check teaching style among students of YWKA Private Elementary School Medan in the academic year 2024-2025. This research was conducted at YWKA Private Elementary School Medan in the 2024-2025 academic year, with the study carried out in May 2025. The sample of this study consisted of 30 fifth-grade B (VB) students in the 2024/2025 academic year. The method used in this research was a learning outcome test using a portfolio instrument to assess inside foot passing in soccer. Based on the initial data obtained, out of 30 students, 17 students (56.67%) achieved mastery in learning, while 13 students (43.33%) did not. In the first cycle, the number of students who achieved mastery increased to 29 students (96.67%), while only 1 student (3.33%) did not. This study concludes that the self-check teaching style can improve the learning outcomes of inside foot passing in soccer among fifth-grade students of YWKA Private Elementary School Medan in the academic year 2024-2025.
